This unique program is designed for skaters of various skill levels, from aspiring competitors to those looking to refine their artistry on the ice.
-- On Ice --
On-ice sessions are expertly led by Nathan Chen, a two-time Olympic medalist whose remarkable achievements have made him a household name in figure skating. Known for his exceptional technical precision, Chen will share his insights into executing difficult jumps and spins, ensuring that participants not only learn the mechanics of these elements but also understand how to incorporate artistry into their routines.
In addition to Chen's technical training, Jean-Luc Baker will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skaters' artistic expression through his dynamic choreography. Baker will share the importance of storytelling through movement. His sessions will focus on how to convey emotions and narratives on the ice, helping participants to connect with their audience more profoundly.
Romain Ponsart will provide personalized guidance on skating techniques, offering tailored advice that addresses each participant's unique strengths and areas for improvement. Ponsart’s expertise in technique will help participants develop a strong foundation, focusing on elements such as edge control, balance, and flow, which are essential for any successful figure skater.
-- Off Ice --
Off the ice, Sam Chouinard will lead sessions that focus on translating movement into expressive performances. His emphasis on body awareness and flexibility is crucial for skaters looking to enhance their physical capabilities and overall performance quality. Chouinard will guide participants through various exercises that promote strength, agility, and fluidity, ensuring they can execute complex movements with grace and ease.
Following the seminars, participants will have the opportunity to engage in afternoon private lessons, where they can receive individualized feedback and skill enhancement tailored to their specific needs.
